1985 Gios Professional...SOLD

This one is authentic...and Gios Blue! It's a 57cm 1985 Gios Professional, Columbus SL frame with serial number 503169. As I noted in the previous Gios post, this frame has all the tell tale details that make it authentic. Gios stamped on the fork, bottom bracket and seatstays. Now that I compare the two I can see the subtle differences. Those details coupled with the correspondence with Marco Gios from Gios-Torino confirmed it's legit. In retrospect a way better deal than the first frame, even it had been not a fake. The current build is a Campagnolo Daytona group (precursor to Centaur), 3T stem, Cinelli bars and Brooks B17 Narrow saddle, with the addition of a new used wheelset: Velocity Fusion rims laced to Campagnolo Centaur hubs.  Its a great ride! Will likely change the 25c  Gatorskins with a set of 28C Vittoria Randonneur tires to make it pretty bombproof around town.  The pics below are of the second build where I swapped the 650b wheelset with the 1984 Bianchi
